Loss or Gain of Other Coverage
Is your spouse or child losing or gaining benefits coverage elsewhere? We have all the details on what to consider when it comes to VyStar benefits.
Within 30 days of losing or gaining benefits coverage elsewhere
Review your VyStar benefits and add or drop your dependent from your current benefits coverage; you may elect/change a Flexible Spending Account.
- To make a change to your benefits following a Qualified Life Event, visit the Benefits and Pay Hub in Workday select the Change Benefits tile then click on “Loss or Gain of Other Coverage”.
- You will be required to submit supporting documentation of the Qualified Life Event within the event. The
document must include First & Last name of your dependent, coverage lost/gained, as well as effective date of coverage the lost/gained. - If you are adding dependents to coverage you will need to attach supporting documentation for dependent verification.
At any time
- While on the enrollment platform, update your beneficiaries, if needed.
- Seek support for everyday challenges or serious issues through www.guidanceresources.com.
